hey, i actually have one of these chips that i will be selling due to the fact im changing out my gears and need the programmer. The chip actually increase my pickup and actually made me do the 1-2 tire chirp by increasing the shift pressure. It also holds out the gears longer for more power in that sense. Its a great chip at a great price. If your interested in the chip, pm me and i'll get the details from you and give you the details.

Stay away from Jet performance products. Call Denis, get a tuner, and ask around. There are better solutions available. Price is attractive, but don’t be fooled, get the real deal. :beatnik:

I concur. My first performance chip was a Jet and it was a waste of money. While they may now be better than their earlier offerings, stick with the SCT tuner and custom tunes from Dennis and the SCT guys. Spend the $320.00 on something that can reprogram the EEC when you decide to "reprogram" the hard performance characteristics of your beast. You will never be disappointed and certainly won't be an "orphan". :rock:

I also agree that you stay away from JET chips. From my experience, my Jetchip was total junk, and those bastards lied to me. When I ordered them, I asked them whether I could send the chip back if I had problems with it, which the guy on the phone said yes. After I got the chip, I had lots of problems with it pinging on throttle tip in, and after gear shifts. I sent it back and had them reprogram it. After it was reprogrammed, it ran too rich and set off the check engine light twice on my car. When I tried to tell them I wanted my money back, they refused to give it back till I had to post articles all over the internet, and even filed a complaint against them with the BBB. Through the BBB, Jet finally agreed to give me my money back, but i'll never buy any of their products ever again. Several years ago if I remember correctly, one of the Saturn clubs also had lots of trouble with their products and I believe filed a lawsuit, or got close to it(too long ago to remember).
