a little history for those who don't know. I not to long ago installed a D1 Procharger and put a 3.6 pulley on it. Had it tuned and it's making too much boost.
I purchased some pulleys from a member here and installed a 4.0 pulley. When I installed the head unit back on the car, the lip on the pulley is hitting the valve cover/head. Has anyone experienced this? Not sure what to do at this point.

The previous owner of mine actually ground down the point of contact to give it clearance.

Yes I figured that would have to happen. Just not sure how much material is there and didn't want to get into it at the time. If you get a chance one day, snap a pic of it please. Thanks in advance

The best I can do is when I had the blower off to have it reconditioned. You can see the cam cover ground down right above the top pulley

We should have just swapped blowers. I can't get enough boost out of mine! :)

Lol! Yea, but I have recently purchased a rebuilt engine with forged internals. When this motor dies if it does I'm throwing it in

Just swap it now and keep your stocker on hand for next time Dom needs one in a few months. :D

Too funny. I can't do it now. I felt weird about pulling the intake when doing to rear cooling mod. Maybe it was the anticipation of installing the supercharger on a 50k mile engine, and my car being on jack stands for over a month.
