Kenne Bell install anything like an Eaton swap?

I'll start by saying that i'm still a loooooong way off from blowing my Marauder, but I am in the process of upgrading what the previous owner didn't in preparation for it, like brakes and what's left of the stock exhaust. I'm also still working on verifying that what he said was done to the motor was actually done.

Without getting extremely detailed, is installing a Kenne Bell or Whipple going to require the same basic parts/bracket work/etc as an Eaton swap? I'm leaning toward Kenne Bell fwiw. My ultimate goal is to break 500 at the wheels, which may be a tall order currently sitting at a detuned 309.

Better get yourself a 03-04 Cobra short block or a built forged motor if you are looking at that kind of boost and power.

And Yes the Eaton brackets will come in handy for the Whipple but I am unsure about the Kenne Bell sc.

Kenne Bell will come with all the parts to install to a Cobra motor

But IIRC you'd need a different pulley setup or a notched radiator support if running the stock cobra pulley setup.

I know there's quite a few guys do the Eaton swaps themselves, what about the guys running a KB or Whipple? I guess when it comes to install a blower is a blower. I'm no stranger to an engine bay, it would be an awesome experience to install it myself.

As far as the motor taking the power, as far as I know (yes, I still have to confirm this), i'm running forged internals. I know for a fact the motor has been out of the car and completely apart, and given the fact the PO was almost a perfectionist, I can't imagine him not having it done right, especially when his long term plan was to strap a KB on it and spread all sorts of hate and discontent. I'm kinda worried about my trans of all things, it's been gone through too, but there's either a tuning issue or it's on the way out. But, it'll be gone through by my trans guy looooong before she gets blown :D

to revive this with one simple question:
With an Eaton swap already done and proven, will the KB 2.6H or Whipple Cobra kit really swap directly on - hardware and belt routing wise?

Also keep in mind that yours will sound different since you have a 2v engine.
