Cam Cover Finish Options?!?

Alot of you guys get your covers powdercoated blue or red or whatever color you choose but has anybody looked at a brushed alluminum/metal finish??

I really liked how my "raw" COT plug looked that i would like that whole theme for the engine bay

How hard would this be to accomplish and how could you keep it from rusting? brushed metals seem to oxidize quicker....i think:confused:

Finish it the way you want it then powdercoat tem clear or get them anodized or high temp clear coat.

polished is too hard to keep clean, plus why polish something thats going to be covered 90% of its life, want something thats looks nice and wont take me 3 days to clean up for a show or meet

Polished aluminum, wipe down a couple times a year.

thats my problem, probably wont retire it from DD status until my wife starts working again, and i get a skeeter beater to drive around

ill check some of these guys out, it will be nice to have a brushed aluminum finish on some of the engine components

Jordan, I may have a core set that I can get powder coated for you and then swap them out for you when your schedule your car to be at the shop.

I would have to check with my powder coater to see if she does brushed aluminum. I know she has done the textured Ford blue for us so she might have brushed aluminum.
