Hello, I applied on the Crown Vic forums weeks ago but still have not been approved, so unfortunately I can not ask any questions over there.

I drive a 2013 Mustang GT that is Manual, Very Loud and a pain to DD everyday. I bought it and am racking up the miles and I want to keep it as a weekend car now.

I am in the market for a clean Crown Vic or MM as a DD.

The problem is the MM are a little bit above my price range, I wanted your opinions on this Crown Vic,

http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/cto/4291081497.html does anyone know for sure if this is a Street Appearance? I want to make sure the guy is not making anything up. I live in South Florida and that's the cleanest one I could find in my area. Is the price fair?

I also found this MM http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/4248858029.html seems very nice but too pricey for me.

For the 06 CVPI with Street Appearance Package

• Standard for Police Interceptor Street Appearance with 3.27/3.55 axles (750A/770A)
• Color keyed retail bodyside moldings
• Rear appliqué with color keyed panels
• "Crown Victoria" badge
• Chrome grille
• Chrome fascia inserts
• Chrome door handle bezel
• Chrome tail lamp appliqué
• 17" wheel covers, full

Ad says "Vehicle was used by Newark NJ FBI Office" so it shouldn't have any antenna holes or spot light holes.

Yes, So i want to find out if its a 750A or 770A. Also from the pictures does it look like a Street Appearance Package? I want to just make sure its legit before I waste time driving to go see it. If its true, does it seem like a good deal for a 06 CVPI with the SAP? I heard they are the best ones to pickup and the cleanest?

also, are those 17 inch wheel covers on that car? Looks like they may have been replaced with the black police ones.

The Vic has 17" wheels, but they've got center caps on it as opposed to full wheel covers. Easiest way to tell if it's SAP is to look at the rear end, if it has the black trunk panel as opposed to body color, it's not a SAP, or at least the panel has been swapped. The price isn't bad, but I personally wouldn't spend that much on a used police car. I tend to get mine from auctions, which isn't the best way if you need a DD quick or don't want to rehab the car youself.

The MM is sweet, looks like a good car.

I was looking high and low for a decent P71 and I stumbled upon my MM almost a year ago. There are a few places around Florida I found that offered some pretty good deals on P71s. Most of them I found using Craigslist Orlando. The SAP's are hard to find. So, if you find a good one, you have to act fast. In fact, if you find a nice P71 with low miles and a color other than white, they all seem to sell fast. Luckily, all the P71's sold and then I stumbled on my MM. :P;)

The MM seems clean, and the vic...with the money you save on buying it you could add a few mods and still be cheaper

Just a thought

That MM for 7500 seems very cheap for a MM I wonder why its priced so low... would you go for that MM or the 2006 crown vic?

The MM does seem on the low end price wise. I'd be curious as to why. If authentic, black with light flint is quite rare. I'd say go for it IF it is legit.
