You know those little rubber bumpers on the glove box door? There's one on each side. Somehow, during my car repairs I've lost one. Do you think there's any hope of ordering these from Ford? I'm guessing I'd probably to order the entire glove box door assembly.

Check with Jinfla and see if he's got them on the car he's parting out, maybe?

Otherwise, I would think these would be simple CV, GM & Marauder parts available at any Ford Parts desk.

I wasn't at work today, Myers Ford - parts dept, but I'll check for the

bumpers on Monday. I feel sure that they are serviced seperate from

the glove box. I will post the part number for you then.

The rubber bumper should be available. It is a serviceable part.

Check inside the Honda that hit you...

Thanks usamusl, I would appreciate that!

Steve: I think the Honda was compacted to the point that you'd need the jaws of life to get my little rubber glove box stopper out of it. :D

You can always post a note to Ray (AKA The Dealer) under his post - parts for sale. He should be able to tell you if they can be ordered via L/M since he's a parts man for Northeast Lincoln Mercury. All you can do is ask!

The number of the glove box bumper is N811543-S and should be
available at any Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealer.

Thanks a ton, Neil! I really appreciate it. I'll drop by my dealership today after work and get it ordered.
