Why such low compression? and what was the lift on the previous cam?

Compression on engine last year was 8.9.This is what the engine builder suggested. The lift on the cam was .730.

That compression is good for how that engine is going to get air and fuel rammed down it's throat! Look at the 03/04 Cobras, 8.5:1cr. That's one of the reasons you can get a lot of air and fuel in a Cobra with decent timing on pump gas.

Well this should be very interesting with a cam that has .100 more lift!

The plan at present is to take the car to Tubular Automotive in Rockland,Mass. They said that they could do it in 2-3 days if I leave the car.

Well, I guess this isn't going to be a restriction. This setup is going to breathe very easily.
Any bigger Joe and you'll be able to reach all the way in and feel the tops of the pistons. ;)
