Anyone ever use a glass polish on the windows? My windshield has always looked a little foggy since ive bought it, appears that the glass is etched or someone drove it through a sand storm. Ive got a gg da polisher for xmas and when i go to do the paint i was hoping to attack the windows also.

Saw a video once where an rv retailer said he uses super fine steel wool.

few companies cell products to polish wiper streak marks out of glass, may be worth a shot trying that.

Glass wax always worked for me in the past.

Griot's Garage and others sell dedicated polishes and appropriate rayon pads to polish glass. Used it on my MIL's car with good results to remove heavy wiper scratches.

Going to give zaino a shot, ill report back with the results. Cerium oxide scares me right now, ive read that it could make the glass uneven/fish eyed if applied wrong. The glass isnt terrible, just less clear than it should be.
I use Meguiars Clay bar kit once a year and RainX every three months.

If you just have water spots use CLR full strength......wipe on with a sponge and hose off......SPARKLING glass!!:bows:

Good stuff, I also use it on my shower doors and bathroom mirrors.
Then I top it with Chemical Guys V07

I used eastwood glass products when i restored my fathers 66 Galaxie, and it did a great job, was able to buff out marks that were made by bad wipers.

Thanks for the idea Marauderjack. I'll have to do that before I clay/rainX next time!

Update: the zaino z12 didn't work as i needed it to, although it super cleans the window, it didn't seem to remove many tiny chips. Cerium oxide or the Eastwood's kit may be next, but i'll wait until i need a windshield before i do it.

Do you have glass coverage on your Marauder?
Now you didn't hear this from me..............
If so, break the windshield and put in a claim.
