Lots and lots of details to now be pursued. Many thanks to the team that did their due diligence to come up with a great event! Special thanks to Brad Linthicum/1 Bad Merc and Paul Melchert/ PEM for guiding the proposal and submission process along.

The Host Hotel is located in the Bolingbrook IL area.

You will not want to miss this one ............if you can figure out a way to finagle it you better come because we will be talking about this one for years!

Will be rounding up the Windy City crew in the next couple of weeks to get the events set up in stone. So keep an eye out for the thread.

We not there yet, only 18, but luckily we're in our mid 50's and understand the day don't make the marriage or us happy. LOL, we could get into a fuss on our day Sept 28th and be mad for a week -vs- not getting into one during the other 51 weeks out of the year and be happy so its more than 1 day. I think she happy & surprised I have NEVER forgot it, she did last year so I held it over her head to never get mad at me if I did. She could only say OK. (My get outta jail/doghouse or whatever card)

Bummer. It seems there are bunch of owners/members in TX but the activity seems to have slowed down quite a bit. Also I have noticed in the past 6 mos there have been several new owners post in the welcome forum but nothing after that. :alone:

It doesn;t mean Maraduerville can't be back in TX again..You and the other area members need to get together to see about a proposal for future Maraduervile. That will generally be done during late Sept. to Dec.1 Any moderator here should be able to forward you the criteria required for a proposal..Some leg work is involved for venues, hotels, eats etc. You and your TX members become the planning commitee adn make the arrangements etc..I'm sure it is alot of work to make sure 40-80 members and spouses have everything they need when away from home and the itinerary for a good time.

I was at Texas Motorplex in Ennis at the 1st one but in either my Mustang or Lightning or I had my Lightning w/ Mustang on trailer can't remember. Didn't know then I'd own one someday and it would be one that was there until I totaled it last year. I wouldn't mine Vegas since I never been there.

I back in the day would drive straight through with the 2 longest being Florida and Houston in about 18 hours... i did Houston every year for 15 years when my brother worked in the control room at NASA. Will be 60 in March and I stopped that marathoning when I turned 53.
When I arrived I was like road dead (non functional) for at least a day.
Tag team ....stay over .....take your time. But the main thing is I want everyone to arrive
