You could probably get someone to trade straight up. Post a pic of the full intake, entire engine bay, and a closeup of the face of that gauge.

Why would you want to get rid of the custom air intake? It flows alot more air then the stock intake and it costs a heck of alot more. Plus with that filter all you need to do is buy a recharge kit and you can wash it, re-oil it and the filter is good to go again. You wont have to change out the stock filters which will save you money. I would personally keep it in a heart beat.

Reasons why ... any increase in air flow is at the expense of filtration.
.
the CFM of the stock/OEM air intake system is MORE than adequite.
.
the stock/OEM air intake system is already CAI. *Draws air from the header panel behind the headlight.
.
can/will cause oil contamination of the MAF sensor.
.
draws in hot air from the engine bay.
.
adds no, 0 (zero), zip performance increase (HP and/or FtLb) to a non-HIGHLY modified N/A engine.
.
only gain would be an increased growl from the air intake. *Same effect can be achieved by enlarging the snorkle opening to the airbox.

^^^what gdmjoe said^^^
The intake system on the Marauder was designed by Rousch and is generally accepted to be one of the best-flowing Ford has ever put on a car.

No, at least not easily. The MAF transfer function is different and will require a re-tune, and the throttle-body on the MM is oval where your MGM is round, so the zip tube won't fit, either.

If you're a member on CVN, look into the MZT, I never did it to my 02 CVPI, but it utilizes the Marauder airbox and MAF with a 2004+ zip tube. It's one of the most popular mods for the -03 and earlier cars. It requires a tune as well due to the larger MAF.

I understand perfectly what Joe is trying to say and his' arguments do hold water if you were debating on whether to purchase this air filter or not. Because if you had the stock air filter and box I would tell you not to waste your money as it really wont do you much good.
But since you already have it on your car there really should not be any debate on it. It will not harm your vehicle and you really should not be worried about it.
If that type of air filter did harm to your car we would not be using them on our built high performance cars. I myself have a K&N open air filter (looks the same) on my car right now and I am pushing over 450 hp.
Dont spend your money on something you dont really need. The air filter you have is a lot more expensive then putting a factory air box back into your car.
If you have to have the factory air box back in to sleep at night go to a junk yard and look around as you can probably find one very cheap. There are a lot of stock ones out there.
Good Luck
