Need help. Had a lean code cylender 1 & 5. Showed lean only at idle in the red. Off idle showed green. Checked for vacum leaks & found none. What do you think ?

Move those two injectors to two other cylinders (that have easy access) and see if the problem moves. If it does, time to replace the injectors.
1 and 5 are the front cylinders, one on each side of the engine. It's interesting that it would be the fronts.

I had that epiphany last night around 3:00 am moving fuel injectors around. On a second not I think I may have heard a low whistle under acceleration. What is a good spray to use around the intake manifold to detect a vacum leak starter fluid or ?

Starter fluid should tell you...carb cleaner, etc.
Sounds like a vacuum leak.
Always look at the air tube between the maf and tb first, and especially the hose that connects to the cam cover.

Propane is a good way to find vacuum leaks as it will speed up the engine.

I had my mechanic perform a smoke test. The were no leaks found. I do hear a slight whistle under moderate to heavy aceleration from time to time. So a very small vacum leak my be present as suggested in previous posts. This may explain why I get a lean cylender 1 & 5 ONLY at idle. Also factor in two slightly plugged injectors. I will also add some Techtron fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank.
