Was wondering if a vortech kit from a cobra would fit a marauder? I have a cobra that I might be parting out and thinking of adding it to the marauder. My cobra is a 98. TIA

Anything can be made to work, how good are you at fabrication?

Not really good. I was just wondering cuz both engines almost look the same. I thought maybe I could just swap it. Or can I just buy the mounting hardware for it?

Whatever the year is with the single bolt tensioner will fit, and if there is a vortech for the Mach 1 that will fit as well.
That's the way mine was put together, I have the paxton mounting bracket from a cobra.
Then it's a matter of running some alum intake pipe and getting/modding a fan that will not get in the way.

I think this cobra is the 3 mounting hole tensioner. I'll have to look tomorrow morning

That may still work, you'd have to check the install instructions. Better yet, the techs at vortch should know if they used the same bracket for both 3 bolt and single bolt covers

Yeah I'm going to have to give them a call tomorrow. Thanks for your input.
