I started using Air Raid filters years ago.
No oiling necessary

I'd oil it, but I sure do like my oilless AEM.

I oil and clean them as needed, a prefilter/sock helps a ton with keeping the K&N cleaner longer.

+1 on the filter sock.

Correct. JLT had a black Friday sale last November and I picked up another CAI filter so I can swap one in while letting the oil dry on the other one

sent from a Samsung Galaxy far far away..

Autozone carries a filter now (in store) that fits nicely over our stock MAF. No adapters necessary. I want to say it was like $20?

Yes..its big and red...just the way everyone likes it. Size comparable to JLT/K&N.

Errr, be gentle it's my 1st time.

Seriously, this is the 1st time I have cleaned it since 2009. Maybe 30000 miles on it.
It was dirty but far from plugged up.

Any one have a part number for the Air Raid?

The oil traps the dirt.

No oil = more dirt in your engine.

Buy a new one. The Pre-filter is good for keeping the actual filter clean longer.
