Hello members, congrats on the fantastic site, I look forward to learning more, please be patient while I do just that.
10 years ago someone parked a Marauder next to me at the hardware store and I knew in less then five minutes I wanted one, and promised myself someday I would pull the trigger on a purchase.
Although the Marauder was built in Canada there are very few to be found this side of the border, and I have only seen them in black.
Well the day has finally arrived, and thanks to this site I was able to locate a silver birch from a fellow member.
Just waiting for the auto hauler to pick my dream car up in Indiana and ship it to Maine where we will meet at the border and I will transport her home to a nice warm garage in Prince Edward Island Canada located about 12 hours North of Boston.
To say I am excited would be the understatement of the decade.
Honestly I can't get the grin off my face.

Welcome! I have found a great bunch of very knowlegable folks here. Hope you do too. Congrats on SB. Enjoy the good natured rivalry about which color is the BEST! All of these Marauders are in fact rare.
Next for me; find build documentation I ordered from Ford and enter it on this site.
Happy motoring on PEI

Importing is mostly straight forward, a great place to start is www.riv.ca (http://www.riv.ca) The Registrar of Imported Vehicles website has all the info.
They outline the steps in detail and have a list of eligible vehicles. You need to send them a recall list from the manufacturer of the car and register.
The Marauder is easy, it is on the approved list and has no recalls. $195.00 to import.
There are several steps but nothing difficult. Transporting a car is about $1.00 mile with a car hauler/shipping company, I am sure you can pay less but you get what you pay for.
The cost is high if you want the carrier to bring it thru customs and you will have a brokerage fee.
I have imported several cars and I get them dropped at the border and drive over with a trailer to pick them up and clear customs in person with my paperwork. I would be happy to answer questions for anyone wanting to import.

I saw the car listed on Kijiji in PEI last fall, it was black bone stock less then 30,000 miles.
It was taken down very quickly not sure if it sold or not. Have you ever seen a silver one in Canada?
