The wife and I just returned from the track, we got together with Carfixer, Bootlegger and their lovely brides. What a great time !!! I did not produce a personal best, ran many 14.7's and with my wife as passenger (including camcorder) had a 15.2 & 15.1 run. Managed a 14.5 late in the afternoon.

The stars of the day were Bootleggers brand new '04 with factory moonroof (what a beauty) and Carfixer and Mrs. Carfixer running some incredibly fast times. I will not post their times, I am sure they will do so when ready.

My wife and I just wanted to say thanks to our friends at the track today for a wonderful day.

We had a great time today. The track wasn't crowded at all. We could run our cars at our leisure. The weather was great, dry and 75 degrees. The best part was spending the day with friends at the track. Bootlegger and his wife, Smokie and his wife were a lot of fun. We really had a nice time and have lots of pictures and videos. Although, we should have accepted Mrs Smokie's offer of sunblock :fire:

When the day started, my wife had never driven a car on a 1/4 mile track (or any track). The car ran 12 times today, she ran it 5 times. I had to pry her out of the seat to let me make a pass!!! I've created a monster!!!

The best time it ran was a 14.291 @ 96.16 MPH
Mrs. carfixer's best time was 14.620 @ 95.65 MPH, I'm very proud of her

Overall, that gave the car an improvement of .61 seconds over stock with 4.10 gears, SCT tuner, plugs and underdrives. I am very pleased :)

Smokie, is your car stock, or do you have any other mods that arn't listed in your signature?

Bootlegger, what did your 04 run with the mods you have? I just can't wait to start modding mine!

Thanks Bigslim, I feel that the programming has been a good bang for the buck investment, but although I think of my car as being stock, I can't call it stock or the BoneStock Police will come after me !!!!!

Nice job, y'all, congrats to all of you. I think anyone who runs five trees needs to have her own screename here, what say you all? I see some impressive time slips, and more importantly, MM owners having fun together. It's extra nice when you get family members to join in.

Caught your mention of the "bone stock police," Javier, I hear ya. Nothing wrong with be straight up on stuff for the benefit of newbies, eh?

Sarge, you are right, and I have always sang the praises of the reprogram as an economical and excellent bang for the buck investment. I have recommended it to many of our members who wanted a transparent improvement that a dealer could not point to and use as an excuse to deny warranty coverage.

To our friends here I have always been open and as accurate as possible. Yesterday at the track I recieved a few compliments from other racers that were impressed with the times that a 4200 lbs 4 door sedan was turning in, and of course I was asked the "question" is it stock ?
My reply was yes, I don't feel that I lied. Is very possible that some here would feel that I did. I look forward to the day when I can answer the "question" with a resounding no, just can't afford what I want....yet.

People do not lie at race tracks, I'm sure of it, and he would get the same answer from me. I mean...it's a stock Kenny Brown Marauder, yes?
