Sorry if this has been beat to death but I need to know. Just curious what are some common issues when buying/looking at MM's. Thanks.

Soft axles grinding in the rear is one of the big ones.

Leaky rear axles

Engine tick, which could lead to worse problems.

Thx for the replies. Am I safe to assume that the rear ends in these are 8.8?? If so leaky rear ends is cake for me. Changed out countless shafts and such on foxbodies.

Not the rear ends, but the axles. Early 03s had a "soft" axle problem. Some have had axle seals replaced, I'm in that group. -and- yes, its an 8.8
