I was in the process of ordering an 8oz bottle of Z-CS for $29.95. It's not bad enough this stuff is so expensive. Then I get to the shipping charge. Only one shipping option for $9.95. That pretty much blew the deal. $9.95 to ship an 8oz bottle???
Anyone have a coupon code for Zaino?
I'm also debating getting an 8oz bottle of Optimum Opti-Seal instead. Read some good reviews. Has anyone tried this stuff?
Thanks!

I use ZCS on my work trucks.
LWB Hi roof Sprinter van
F350 LWB with utility body and painted roll up tonneau
F150 Shorty with fiberglass tonneau.
I do them once a year, none are garage kept, at the end of the 12 months they all still bead.
I bought my only bottle of ZCS in 2008, I still have 1/2 bottle.
In other words it isn't expensive at all.
Like all Zaino products initial purchase stings a bit but years later when you still have a crapload of it you realize how inexpensive it is.
Buy some of their border free blonde towels and it won't take long before your microfibers are reserved for cleaning sunglasses.
And no I don't work for them, as a matter of fact right now neither of my personals including the MM have any Zaino product on them at all.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's an outstanding product and you get what you pay for. It's that shipping charge at the end that broke the deal...$9.95 for an 8oz bottle? That's unreasonable. I went with the Optimum Opti-seal.

Pete, wish I saw this earlier. I would have paypal'd some money to order some for me at the same time, and help cover shipping

The same goes for optiseal, i still have a quarter bottle left out of the 8 oz it was, ive had it for a few years, let others use it, even gave 2oz to Ctrlraven for installation of my hid's. On average, i'll use it almost every time i get done washing my car, its too easy not to. One pump for each panel, 2 pumps for the hood and roof. Wipe on, .....done!

Is the sealant your top coat? I was planning a couple of coats of sealer after my Spring claying, polishing and a little quality carnauba wax on top of the sealer.

Sorry Bill, already ordered. Maybe we can have a little BBQ & detailing party when it gets warmer with NO chance of snow.

Sounds good to me! First car show of the season that I'm going to is April 6th at Central Connecticut State University, $10 to show, free to spectate. I'll make a thread in the regional forum

Yep, wash, clay, (some rewash, i dont), polish, sealant, wax. I dont do these steps all the time ofcourse, but they are the steps. Boatmangc is the true expert in all this, he will probably add a few steps in between those.

Just picked up some OptiSeal along with their spray wax and detail spray.
Looking forward to trying them out at the upcoming Kentucky Meet.
