you know its a great car when its the first 70 degree and sunny day in Chicago and you decide to take a spin in the fast and comfortable Marauder instead of the '70 convertible. Man this car is fun, can't wait 'till its broken in. Any of your wifes think your obsessed with this forum like mine does?

My lovely bride knows I am obsessed, as this is the only forum I regularly visit. However, she appears to accept this departure from normal behavior based on previous yearnings for things hot, fast, and steel....

My wife just says "You are not on that Marauder site again --are you??" then just rolls her eyes in that way that I have gotten accustomed to over the past 29 years. She figures it is just another of those idiosyncracies that she has to put up with. Of course, she loves the car as much as I do ... so, that is a definite plus. Too bad they didn't make the MM convertible ... she would have her own to play with ... and probably her own screenname too.

I get ***** every day about it. She says I'm obsessed with it and addicted to it like crack cocaine. Well, I can't control myself. I told her at least you know where I'm at all the time, and could be at the bar all day getting toasted. :bounce: Also, reminded her of the obsession with the Soap Channel and Lifetime for Women Channel she has; enough said. :argue:

Ive been obsessed with my Marauder and this site for almost two years now. My wife thinks I'm nuts, and I am,over a car thats given me more thrill and fun behind the wheel in 35 years.
Because of the Marauder Ive learned how to navigate on the computer. My most recent discovery is Texas hold-em poker. My new obession.
Actually, the other day when we were out in the MM, I passed someone and my wife said," You know, this really is a cool car!" Fell in love all over again!

I have posted this comment elsewhere on this site - My 16 year old daughter says that she know that I am in my mid-life crisis since buying the MM. After my wife and daughter found out about the website they also tell everyone that I have also joined a cult. I love it. BTW - I plan on making my mid-life crisis last 50 years.
Take care.

As Mary said what's stopping her. My wife is involved in the Marauder as much as I am, but she keeps telling me that I have an illness. Yea the MM.net disease. It might be addicitive, but at least it's legal!!
She also loves driving the Black Bomber as much as I do and sometimes I have to wrestle her for the keys. Even though I am almost a foot taller and 100lbs heavier she still manages to get the keys from me, sometimes. As they say "Alls fair in love and war" and driving the Marauder.

Obbsession?? Understatemant!!!!! Quick story. Promise!!
I have flows on mine so she makes a purty rumble when driving and that turns heads. And I have seen alot people stopp for a minute a just look. But last weekend I got her waxed and got the windows tinted. The next day into a Golden Gallon and when I pulled in I noticed just about everyone looking at the car. No one said anything yet. I my stuff and walked out. A car with 4 teens had pulled up across from me. As I started to get in a guy walked by and said "Thats a sweet ride!!" Thanks I said. I got in and noticed that car with the teens pointing at my car. And I could tell one was saying "Is that the Marauder?" Thats all I couls make out. So After started her up and gave her a LITTLE gas!!! Im pulled out and as I pulled thru the pumps I happen to noitce that I had an audiiance. I couldnt resist!!!! Punched it and out of the lot and on to the By-Pass abit sideways!!!!!!!!! But other than that, I would trade in on a Good used Yogo any day!!!!!!!!!!
