Hi everyone, my name is Paul I live in central MA and I recently bought a 2003 Marauder from a very nice guy named Pete in New Jersey. Too much snow and salt around here so the car is in storage until the streets get cleaned.

The car is black and has 70K on it and is mostly stock. It's in real nice shape and runs real nice but like a lot of people I have a big itch to supercharge it. I've been looking around and it seems like the only people selling a complete kit is Reinhardt. From what I've seen some people like them and some don't.

Signed up here to hopefully get good information when needed.

Welcome:banana2: I have a kit from him, although I bought it from someone who never installed it, and I got a great deal on it. Alot of people on here do what is called an eaton swap..it is not a kit, but purchase the neccessary items and viola!..plenty of help on here to get you the right places to get the parts needed.Dealing with DR has it's good and bad, depending on who you talk to. pretty much everyone here is here to help..

Thanks very much. How much power did that kit add to your car? If you had it to do again would you do the DR kit or an eaton swap?

MIne has no intercooler so it makes up to 411 RWHP adding an intercooler should gain 50-60..They both have their own merits, Eaton swaps are roots type and good for low end (which these cars need) but the centri once inthe power band (3000 ish rpm) sure pulls hard and doesn;t stop..There are tricks to max each one..gear swap, higher stall converter. It was too goodof a deal to pass up so i went the centri from a member who sold his car and never installed it. I would prolly go eaton swap if I could do it again... either way, best to keep it at 450 and under RWHP on stock engine components and a eaton will get you generally 420-450 if tuned frm someone who knows Maraduers...

Thanks, it's a nice old school truck..never driven wnters or offroad or used as a work truck. It's a 351 gas motor, Powerstroke diesel would have sold for more $$ and been gone

How much for that F350? I sold my 1995 F350 powerstroke about a year ago. Salt in New England was killing it.

My DR supercharger kit added more than 100 hp by itself. The kit includes a Novi 1200 centrifugal supercharger, necessary piping, adapters, belt. 39 lb injectors and a good cold air induction system, higher capacity MAF, and upgraded fuel pump.
My kit did not include an inter-cooler, the expense for just that one item was about $1500.00. The kit I bought was $3900.00 not including installation or tune.

This was a limited time special, the kit listed on his website includes an after-cooler. I bought mine in 07 and it's been trouble free.

I'm asking $12,900..or reasonable offer...Powerstroke in it, I prolly could have got $14-15k for it people tell me. Ive had a good handful or serious, or so I thought, people interested..just no one wants to hand over the cash

Before you buy from that website, mail them a $1 dollar bill from which you have recorded the serial number. Then ask the website owner to take a picture of your dollar bill with each and every part that is supposed to be in the kit. Sound crazy, maybe but then you'll at least know the parts exist.

Then make a call to the BBB whose logo appears on the website you are looking at and see if that logo is with permission.

Wow, I heard there were some DR haters in the crowd. I obviously don't want to get ripped off, that's why I asked. When and where is that NH meet?

DR did put a kit on my car in 2009 and I was very pleased. I USED TO DEFEND HIM! After seeing a couple of my fiends go thru bad experiences and seeing, with own 2 eyes, a car that is in pieces right now from his shop I am going to tell you to stay away! Let Marty's shop take care of you!

Oh, I know and that really wasn't the purpose of my post. If anyone doesn't know my car they can look at my sig and tell I have put ALOT of money into this ride. I really do trust you and your guys.

I can only say I've now seen it with my own eyes what he's capable of. I used to defend DR but I can't do it anymore!

You can call me on my cell at (914) 582-6262 or call the shop (my cell is better - mechanics make lousy secretaries and I wouldn't let anyone of them sit on my lap or take dictation!)
