I can officially post this now.

My wife accepted an offer with her company (Boeing) and we will be moving out to Seattle in a couple months. She will be based in Everett. Unfortunately, I am not able to retain my position so the hunt for a new job begins.

We will be house hunting the last weekend in April. My wife starts May 2. I will be here in Virginia tying up last minute items but I expect to be out in Washington by mid June.

Looking forward to meeting up with some WA state owners!

thanks,

Ryan

Hi yes, this is correct. The DPB is staying in VA. If I can convince dad to go on a cross country road trip with me out to Seattle, you might be able to see it!

thanks for the response everyone, I appreciate it. We haven't decided where to live just yet. I think a lot will depend on where/when I find a position.

I'm still on the east coast. But we're planning on driving cross country at some point.

Congratulations on the new opportunity! I've been to the Boeing plant many times for work. Seattle is a great place to visit. Lots of beautiful scenery. Really nice aviation museum nearby.

oh, and there is a blue running around the north end, mukilteo area. I've seen it once, and a few others have seen it once or twise.
