Last week finally got the mm back from the shop or the bad engine noise,all fixed and no more noise at startup i have had since i have owned it love him for thayt and not too expensive either,here come the hate,at 2 degrees he pushed my MM in and out of his shop with his tow truck,trashed both front and rear bumper covers.Heres the real bad part,he's not going to pay to repaint them , called it normal wear and tear due to he didnt want to start the car to move it with the noise.:mad2:

luckily it just cracked the paint,and around here it will take more than a year to get him to court!

the other bad thing is he knows i drove it there with the noise because i didnt want to tow it and wreck the bumper covers.

This happen to my cv when the shop had to tow it out of the soft grass of my Mom's house .
The guy was up front about it And said if you still want the work done. At the end of it he paid for the tow and gave me 500 cash for replacing the bumper . I asked him than to take it off the bill and he did .


That guy should work with you if he wants you to not take him to court and write bad feedback .

I'm really sorry to hear about your MM. I can't even imagine how ticked off I'd be if that happened to mine. I'd probably want to burn the guys business to the ground! (If he didn't pay to fix it.) I go ape ***** when someone parks to close to me! I've honestly been ready to smash someones windows out, if there was a ding! Luckily, my MM is still ding and dent free.:) Good luck on how you proceed with this. I wish you the best.

Technically he hit your car with his, and admitted to it....maybe call your insurance company and explain the situation.

Whenever I need a tow for a MM I make sure to request a flat bed or a wheel lift tow truck. Sling backs are for the old, old cars with heavy chrome bumpers. And I do believe that insurance (some one's) should cover the damage. That's usally why shops carry insurance. Really no difference if he would have dropped a tool on it and damaged the paint.

Submit a claim against his business liability insurance.

Legally he has no say over this as the damage was caused by his negligence other than to pay you off to avoid a claim.

Call the better business bureau. Im a mechanic myself but I dont do body work so I have to take it somewhere and when I had my first marauders front bumper repainted the guy used a different shade of black and I was unhappy with it. It was clearly different and he said he couldnt do anything for me and charged me full cost. I called them and they got me a full body repaint. They scare the isht out of body shops so why not a tech.

Rich: Does Me. have a small claims court? If so take him there. Small fee to file no Lawyers needed ( I think you can have one if you want)you just tell the Judge your side of the story the other guy does the same and the Judge rules. The amount in NJ is $1,100 I think. Look into it.
