Older members who were responsible for the foundation of this forum and so many MM innovations and mods have basically drifted away or sold their MMs. I am also seriously thinking of selling my Trilogy MM this Spring along with a host of parts. I rarely post any more because the make-up of the forum has changed so drastically. The original first members are no longer the mainstream of the forum. It is now second or third owners posting on the forum and they are usually younger then the founding members.

TAF moved to VA and I have not heard from him in a long time. Donnie sold his SRT and now owes a new Fiat.

Thanks Glenn for the update--- I too have realized this just about everywhere---I guess it was inevitable so to speak---like your trailer--it has passed on to a third owner--ME-love it --it has been very useful for many events ---anyway--thanks again --maybe we will hit up again some day--I still have my MM--covered outside and drive maybe once a month for short drives----Tom

Glad you like the trailer. I had it customize built for my MM when I was involved in drag racing. It rides like a dream. I towed it with a 2000 F150 with a 4.6 that had 230,000 on it - never a problem even at 70+.

That's because everyone is younger than you, Glenn!

I'm still around from time to time but use this more for research now. My MM has 80k on it now an I'm only driving it a few times a month. Needs brakes and I'd like to chrome plate the wheels. Selling it occasionally crosses my mind but I will hold off as long as I can. Have a new F150 fx4, first truck and I love it...but nothing beats that Marauder. I've been on this site for nine years, almost 40 now. Haha. Sad to see the founders move on; classy guys.

Todd posts on SVT performance. I think he may not be in VA anymore. Thought I saw he was back south.

I still check in time to time.I just had a front end accident with my Marauder.About 8 grand??? The front bumper is gone and the air bag deployed.I won't let them total the car as I only have 79000 miles on the odometer.
The best thing is nobody was hurt.:violin:

Although I was originally interested in some friends in Ga, thus the Southern forum--I should have posted the thread in the Lounge, as it really relates to all the older ones , like myself, member 393, since Nov.'02--

NO matter what --its been and still one heck of a 11 year involvement--friends and acquaintances made on the site are priceless--period--

WTF!?!?!....That's a radical change in vehicular philosophy.

Been on the site since '02. Known about the Marauder since early prototypes. Bought A/B changeover car on Apr 1, 2003. Have 151+ 000 happy miles. Was on planning committee for 1st convention at Ennis. My last Marauderville was in Detroit. It's. Even my only car, driven hard and put away wet. Made Louisville last year and had a blast. Still take her out occasionly and " clean out the carbon and check the tire grip on a turn ". I've enjoyed every mile and the people I have met on the site have had a great influence on my life. I welcome all the second + owners but really miss the old gang. I remember being able to get 29+ Marauders to car shows every month----- now I can't get 3. I sincerely hope the new owners will keep mercurymarauder.net going for a lot more years. To all of us pioneers left I say " oh for the good old days". Sure is great to see some long familiar names checking in. KEEP THE MARAUDERS ROLLING and remember, drive safely, but with gusto ! Hope to be around for a few more years. Old Man Cruzer. Maury

Gary, haven't seen anything from you in a while. Hope you're well. I lurk around but don't really post much, but I really never did. I'll chime in on old car questions and sometimes others. I think I joined sometime in 2002. I got the Marauder in June of '02. I believe that a_d_a_m owns it currently. Good to see Zack back here as he really is the keeper of the most knowledge on Marauders. It seems like there is a whole bunch of new owners that can benefit from his "been there done that" experience.
