After talking with Jay (JaBird) and Ryan (Mebot) who are both leaving the CAM collective soon, I'm proposing we move up the meet this year. It is our last opportunity to say farewell to these long time friends and active CAM members. Both of them are not available later in the month.
Unfortunately, the only Sunday is the week following Louisville (April 13th, 2pm) so some members will have back to back Marauder weekends.
This is the 10th anniversary of this popular local meet. Looking forward to a big turnout

I'll be there for sure. Not sure if my car will, just depends on when we actually start building the new motor and get it installed along with the supercharger and dyno tune.... might be doing it during that time

Count me in for 13 April at Berts 50s Diner.
Hard to believe that this is the 10th year at Bert's. Below are some pics from the 1st CAM Meet at Bert's back on 13 March 2005. This was called the "Flying Pigs" meet. It had something to do with "When Pigs Fly ...." but I can't remember why. Haggis is holding the Pig Trophy :trophy:

I told Mike Poore a story of me working with pigs and one tried to get out of its pen by flying over my shoulder. Therefore the 'Flying Pig' trophy.

Yep, this will be the last CAM'r event for us for awhile. Never say never though. We'll be migrating to the Sunshine State Marauder region by the 1st of May. The CAM'r gang has definitely been fun to meet up with at Bert's, Carlisle, Captain Dan's Crab House, Red Brick Station, ABC Brew Pub, and the Endless Summer Car Cruise. Since moving back from Omaha in 2008, the CAM'rs met us with open arms and made us feel at home from the start, I guess it helped to have a MM also....
We'll miss the camaraderie with this MM family, just keep in mind though you never know when a MM owner with a FL tan will crash a CAM'r event.
:D
To the Sunshine State Marauders,.... HERE WE COME!

It's a pretty long drive for lunch (not saying I haven't done that several times) but not as much fun when your feeling bad. Get well soon.

I will be bowing from the meet, been under the weather since Tuesday and still feeling pretty blah.
Also noticed a low psi yesterday, not sure if it was just the heat and running a thin oil still from winter, the gauge sender is going bad or crap blocking the screen on the pickup tube. Will have to look into it.

Just read this and thought of the picture of your neighborhood pets. Stay safe out there!
Officials: Florida Woman Just Attacked by One Bear, Not Five
collapse story
A central Florida woman was released from the hospital Sunday after initial reports said she was attacked by five bears the night before.
Officials later said that just one wear was responsible for her injuries.
advertisement (http://www.nbcnews.com/id/31066137/media-kit/)
The attack happened just before 8 p.m. Saturday at a home in Seminole County, Fla., authorities told NBC's Orlando affiliate WESH (http://www.wesh.com/news/seminole-county-woman-recovers-after-bear-attack/25455410#!DSQJ9).
The woman, identified as Terri Frana, a had left her garage door open, officials with the state's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) told the station.
When she returned to take out the trash five bears attacked and dragged her outside, the station first reported.
But the FWC later changed the bear tale:
"Early media reports that Ms. Frana was attacked by several bears are inaccurate," said wildlife commission spokesman Greg Workman. "There were several bears observed near the area, but one bear is responsible for her injuries."
She was taken to South Seminole hospital with injuries to her leg and face, and released on Sunday.
"The FWC has positioned several traps in the area and is reaching out to residents of this neighborhood to discuss actions they can take to avoid encounters with bears," Workman said.
Sunshine State wildlife officials just issued a warning that hibernation season has ended so the public should expect to see more bears.
