so i tried to do the flasher bypass now i don't have any flash. i cut the light blue and white/red wires on the LCM plug wired in an electronic flasher i got from Super Bright LEDs and now nothing. i checked all fuses and theyre still good, all the other lights work(headlights, tail lights, brake lights) but no signals. any help would be greatly appreciated

Where did you find this "flasher bypass" method of madness?

Are you using an electronic flasher?
Is the flasher connected to a ground?
Is the flasher connected to the right side of the harness?

yes its an electronic flasher, it says LED compatible
the first flasher i tried only has 2 prongs(load and bulb) the second one had 3 prongs(load, bulb and ground) the second one was grounded
i have it connected to the non lcm side
i connected a multimeter to the light blue wire and with the hazard switch on there was no voltage, could the MFS be bad? because i may have forgotten to disconnect the battery before doing this

Not disconnecting the battery should not be an issue.
Are you sre you cut the right wires? I've done a few of these with no problems.

pretty sure, solid light blue and white with red tracer, on the thin wide connector above the gas pedal pin 3 and 5. here a quick pic i grabbed if that will help, its really bad quality though

Flat crimps, junk plastic crimp connectors or the wires hanging outside of the crimps........ which part is "bad quality"?
This should be retitled "how not to splice a connection"......:shake:
