looking to buy a Marauder. the for sale and auctions sites have been unfruitful so far.
would prefer in the 40k mile range but not really more than 80K
car will be my primary car
ideal price range is $10-15k but will go up or down for the right car, right options
NOT LOOKING FOR toreador red NOR cars with light flint
my color preference would go Black, Blue, Silver. Silver is practical for me But Black is my first Choice as blue cars are few and far between.
would also like to find one with a spoiler and moonroof but not a deal breaker
Almost 100% must is that it has heated seats (this winter was rough in the mornings)
lastly, prefer unmodded cars mechanically, no stupid wheels!
Please contact me here or at 88cuttyclassic@gmail.com
Thanks

http://reading.craigslist.org/cto/4347068570.html yeah that's way on my high end and at that price it doesn't have all the things I'm looking for. I know beggars can't be choosers but I think a lil digging and patience i'll find the one that's right for me. if it had moon roof, spoiler and heated seats I'd be all over that. I could drive that thing for 15 years with those low miles!
Good look thou! I appreciate it. :)

Check philly craigslist, there are always some for sale. Just wait for the right one and don't be afraid I get on a plane and drive it home. I bought one in Maryland, one in California, and one in Connecticut.

And if you buy one with a moon roof, make sure it's an 04. I've found there is more headroom than an aftermarket install and they are normally a cleaner install.

Yes ive learned recently moonroof was an 04 only option and they only made around 1000. Id like to find one within 4 hours but i usually do a 500 mile search. My buddy bought his green 96 impala last year sight unseen and had it shipped from denver. Ballsy but he got a steal!

saw your post and know these may not fit your criteria but the 1st has a Vortech V3 supercharger on it. Someone spent some money on it, in the dash trim and stereo system.

That car is in texas. It was also on ebay and had a story that raised a few red flags with me.

That one in pittburgh just popped up. I think i mentioned the ugly wheels and system. Its had too many hands in it for me. Miles are too high for what im looking for, especially boosted. I dont want to be mistaken as somebody else who may have previously owned that. Pittsburgh isnt a big city lol.

I understand, got to be happy with the car you buy, but the wheels and all can be changed back to look like just another factory Marauder on the cars that's got aftermarket wheels.

wheels are wheels like you said...boosted motor with over 100k on a car I need to drive daily is the biggest negative....for me. if I was looking for a weekend car then I would consider cars modded. even with all that the interior just kills that car. do not like the light flint one bit. that's why im really not hot on Impala SSs either. The dark charcoal is one the biggest reasons I love the marauder.
I've always seemed to luck out and cars fall in my lap. the only time I really rushed was when I got my monte SS. My Cutlass was stolen and I needed another car. I couldn't find a cutlass to my liking at the time and GNs were too much at that time so I got my SS. I love it but its still a chevy and not olds. A year after I found my Hurst in the auto trader for a killer price and jumped all over it.
I've kinda bided my time because the winter has been so cold and harsh. I didn't wanna get a car and have to put it into service in the snow off the bat but not that I can see spring on the horizon I'm hoping cars will pop up. I was hot on the one outside of Detroit with the R-title but the dealer wont get back to me on my questions. they sent me the damage pics I requested but wont give me any documentation on the repair. major red flag.

I was honestly not looking for a DTR when I bought mine, but finding a no hit unmolested car was trying my patience. I bought the DTR, as it was a low number car with a moonroof & 14k miles, did a couple of mods, 6 years and 7k miles later, I still kinda like the smile it puts on my face.

I didn't want another black car to try to keep clean in woods of central NYS. So I bought my DTR, sight unseen. I like the way it changes color with varying lighting.

It is astounding to me how much info some people do not leave in their for sale adds. Especially upgrades such as engines, transmissions and such.
Don't judge until you have test driven it as I know of many high mileage boosted cars that are better taken care of than stock units.. In fact, my car has 98,000 and I guarantee it has more new and/or upgraded parts than anything you'll find. Of course the price tag would reflect as much. :)
