Okay,
I'm sure that I've seen here somewhere that our cats were going for around $200.00 at the scrap yard.
So why did My local yard only offer me $80.00 ($20 ea.).:violin:
Granted the threads that i've seen the $200. quote in were a bit dated but, I'm wondering if they are trying to take advantage of me.
I did put them back in the shed for now pending my investigation.
What say the masses?
Thanks in advance for opinions.

The proceeds from the sale were to go toward my SC upgrade.

Price will vary between scrap yards, and the value seems to vary depending on current market value of materials inside the converters.

Are they good cats or bad ones? I may be in need of some good ones for each side for a friend who doesn't want to go aftermarket.

To vegasmarauder:
Cats are good.
Took them off at 24,000 mi. for Magnaflow Hi Flow 2 cat X-pipe.

I just sold my 4 for $70 a week ago. I was at the JY with some old appliances and other scrap metal I had laying around and figured I'd take the $70 just to get rid of them

Ford runs small cats, they are worthless. If you can get $80 take the money and run!

The ones I sold off the '06 Vic fetched like $50. The guy tried to tell me they were universal until I pointed out the Ford logo...
