So today my alternator decided to go out. A couple days before the meet. Seems I can't find a marauder one anywhere. My last hope is the dealer. My question is will a crown victoria alternator work? Need to try and get this going by tomorrow for the meet Saturday. TIA

Pretty sure 2v alt will interfere with 4v intake manifold.

Damn that's a hell of a deal. I'm going to try my local dealer and see how much I can get it for. The biggest thing is I would need it ASAP so I might have to order it from the local parts store and they'll have it by Saturday.

I believe the Marauder uses a 4G type alternator.
Have it rebuild by a local shop. Not too expensive and quick turnaround time.

Damn I didn't think about that. I'm going to make some calls today. I was able to find one for $160 new but for tomorrow.

Not sure I ordered mine from a local parts store
It is highly unlikely you found a new one. Most likely a reman

It's a new one. I get discounts at a couple of parts stores. This one I ordered is coming from oreilly's.
