I just ordered some low-mile 39lb Ford Racing injectors for my eaton swap from a member on SVTP. The seller posted a pic, someone asked what they were and he said they were 39lb from his '03 cobra vert.
I received said injectors and can't figure out how to identify them as actually being 39lb injectors. They are black with a blue ring up top, 4-spray holes, with the following model numbers on opposite sides,
"XR3E-C5B" ... seems to be an engineering part number (from what research I have done suggests)
&
"0 280 155 865" ... this searched in google pops up as a 24lb Ford injector.

Looks like I got screwed, but...I also found what looks to be the same injectors as these listed on these sites as 39lb'rs.

So now I am more confused... does anyone have any insight as to how to properly ID these? Thanks guys!
Edited for further research
They do appear to be 24#'ers

The guy has been deleting stuff as they sell.
I PM'd him:
"Interested in the Injectors..are these pretty much plug n play to 03 04 cobras?"
He replies:
"Yes, they are factory equipment on the cobra."

Those look like 24's used on the non-boosted DOHC engines.
What an *******. I hate people like that.

I thought 24's had a pink or purple mark on them? My 60# ones are all black like those. Weren't all 39's from Ford blue?

Bob, that's what I thought about the blue ones.. but from what I have researched, apparently only Original Equipment 39#s used in 03-04 cobras were blue. The FRPP 39#, some were black, some dark blue.
The Ford Racing 24# seem to be sold now as a dark purple body, but may also have been sold as all black such as the ones I have received..this is annoying.

I bet you ID them from the hole diameter X number of holes. Try using a tip cleaner for a torch (just don't insert it in past the start.) Find the size that fits and MIC it.
Best I got man?

Thanks for the advice and comments guys. Bob I don't have those tools, nor have I found any useful cutsheets or other physical specs between different injectors such as the diameter of the spray holes.. I can't believe how much ambiguity there is regarding these injectors sharing part numbers etc...
UPDATE:
I have PM'd the seller and he assures me they are 39lb and he purchased them on the Buyfordracing.com site for his procharger swapped 03 terminator and made around 500HP using them. He also pointed to this thread which someone had similar concerns regarding identification.

For now, I am going to give the gentleman the benefit of the doubt and leave it be that they are indeed 39lb as I have no reason to believe the seller not to be truthful. I will update this thread after my eaton install. Thanks.

I have a few different sized sets laying around. Give me a day or two and I'll put my theory to the test. If I can find an obvious way to size them I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks Bob, I would be very interested in your findings. I appreciate taking the time to look into it, I would think this would be quite useful for members who are in the market for upgraded injectors.

My tip cleaner was just a tiny hair too big to fit in my spare 39's and for the life of me I couldn't find my stock 24's.
The number on my blue 39's is 2R3V-B5A if that helps ya.

That was a similar topic thread but not the seller I purchased from. Just an example of the confusion with this model 39# injectors from FRPP.
