New to the forum so please bare with me, but I am befuddled. I have this awful sound while traveling at the speed limit in and around 65 mph. It sounds like the harmonic flapping of the tires when the vehicle sits too long not being driven. I have just placed 4 brand new ones on there, and though it first appeared to have somewhat gone away, it is still pronounced. Any Help? Any One!

When you had them mounted and balanced, were they also road force tested?

I do not believe so. To clarify, this problem started a while ago, with the old tires, which now is making me think its not tires, but something other that developed.

Elevate rear, install on jackstands,Start, disengage traction control.
Put in drive at idle, listen carefully to rear @ wheels.
this is how I found my harmonic noise that was a bad bearing on an axle.
Caught and repaired with minimal expense.
Good Luck!!
