That might be it. I remember it being south about 30-40 minutes from louisville

Yes, it was Mammoth Cave.
Fair warning, if you're at all claustrophobic you might not enjoy the trip down, but once you're there it's worth it.

They are impressive!!! I have'nt been in a while, I wonder if they still have the glass bottom boat tour...
There's also Squire Boone. It's a smaller cave but worht the short drive to Indiana...
