Okay gang, the BOC is Saturday, May 3rd, which is 6 weeks away. I know Rex (RIP) was typically the foot-stomper on this get-together and that this year's BOC won't be the same, but it's just around the corner.

Pre-registration ends April 15th and is $20. You can register the morning of (8am-11am) the show for $25. Judging begins at 9am and trophies will be awarded at the end of the show (4pm).

Just curious what you all want to do that weekend....meet somewhere Friday night for dinner, Denny's at 7am for breakfast, then a place TBD after the show is over?

Let me know what you all want to do.

I'm on a new work schedule starting in 2 weeks that would end my work week on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., so I doubt I could make it on time for judging, but the after party looks like a possibility.

I'll be in upstate NY for the entire weekend, count me out of this one.

I still plan on going. If I get enough time between now and next Saturday to clean her up really good, I will take the plunge and have my car judged for the first time. I will be arriving in the Charlotte area late Thursday night. If you guys want to get together Friday night, let me know.

Are we going to meet at that Denny's @ 7am Sat so we can grab some b-fast and drive in as a group?

With my work schedule Friday night/Saturday morning as it is, I won't be able to attend the car show, but if a group of show attendees want to meet afterwards somewhere in Charlotte (Tilted Kilt) or Concord (Twin Peeks or Hooters), I can make it in the area around 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. Let me know what's being planned, if anything.

The car will show great anyway. Put up a sign with an arrow that says "I drove to the show and this is what I got for it." :D

Looks like we're going to have a very small group this year....3, maybe 4?

I will be arriving in the area around 8-9pm Thursday night, then spend all day Friday cleaning up the MM. If y'all want to meet somewhere for dinner or other Friday night, post up.

Since we have a small group this year, do you guys want to bother with meeting at Denny's Sat morning, or just arrive on your own at the car show? Registration is from 8-11, judging begins at 9, and open to the public at 11.

I can stick around after the show is over (til 8-9pm), but I do need to get back to Asheville that night so I can spend Sunday studying for my last 2 finals.

Lastly, the weather forecast looks fantastic....sunny with a high of 75.

Russ, I'll give you a call when I get into town Thurs night....
