I had to (got to) drive from Houston to Waco for a deposition last Friday. Texas at its most glorious! More wildflowers in more colors than anyone can imagine! But that's a different story. Of course, I collected a bunch of windshield bugs on the trip, and had to stop for gas on the way back. Naturally, the station I chose didn't have windshield cleaning stuff available. Sooooooo, I looked in my trunk and there was the package of baby wipes that I keep to clean up after changing flat tires or other roadside work. I took a couple of baby wipes and Presto! With just a little elbow grease, all of the bugs were gone. I didn't try the wipes on the grill bugs, but it seems like they must contain some pretty mild solution if you can use them on a baby's bottom. Probably wouldn't hurt the paint, if that's the case.

Baby wipes take ink off the hands as well!
I would not recommend using them on paintd surfaces as they will likely remove all the wax as well.
