95,000 miles and time to do some "Ford" maintenance....I'm thinking:
"Ford's Multi-point" Inspection...
Change Drive Belt
Transmission Fluid
Rear End Fluid
Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter
Any more suggestions?... OK here's everybody's chance to jump in and spend my money... Actually, I'm big on preventative Maintenance... ;)
DO NOTHING TO:
Brakes (new)
Tires (new)
Oil and Filter (Fresh Mobil 1)

Looks about right. Might want to add air filter if it looks bad.
Don't let anyone sell you blinker fluid.

MM??
There is no drive belt. It uses chains.
Rear diff fluid should be changed every 30k or less.
Brake fluid every three years.

I gave him credit for knowing that and assumed he means the serpentine.

Most important thing here...Chris let my right hand side blinker fluid get too low and I had to drive all the way home with my left blinker on...people on Rascals were giving me the thumbs up...:depress:

Transmission fluid filter, drain coolant from radiator and refill from coolant tank...make sure engine is cold when you do it, otherwise you'll have to burp the system(not hard, just time consuming ). Change out some power steering fluid with turkey baster, refill with merconV...might even try some lucas power steering fluid to recondition/ keep seals good(this might be 'hype' from the bottle, but ive used it with no ill effects ). For rear end, use 75-140 gear oil(owners manual is wrong) and dont forget a tube of friction modifier unless the gear oil already has it added.

As usual, people feel as though they are entitled to judge without knowing the whole story, poke fun at or even take sides.... without knowing a thing.
Time to move on for good. Plus, it helps to know who to avoid in KY.
Thanks for the heads up!

Not taking sides dom, don't claim to know the story nor do I ever want to. Not judging, merely giving an outsiders perspective............
One more time for the kid :violin:

It's just every time he posts something you have to reply to it with something smart to say, you guys had a falling out and thats your business but to attack his posts in other peoples thread when he's trying to give useful information is just ridiculous....

This thread went full retard
Change Drive Belt
Serpentine belt along with the two idler pulleys
and the tensioner Must get Ford pulleys Gates belt is fine
Transmission Fluid
Not a fan of "Fluid exchange" they often use universal crap fluid, or don't' even do the job but charge you.
Drop pan, remove Valve body, enjoy extra 3-4 quarts dumping out on you, replace gasket. Can do a J-mod at this time I recommend drilling the separator plate only. The Marauder has a firm enough 1-2 shift.
Getting the Ford trans pan with drain is nice but a few$$ but does not leak a drop

Rear End Fluid
You have 4.10 gears so it's been changed at least once by now. 30K is excessive unless you use cheap fluid. 50-70K should suffice if you use synthetic 75W-140
Spark Plugs
Yes, 50 - 100K for plugs. They are they first thing to change if you have any misfires or shudder of course. Motorcraft replacements now are Irridium according the the box anyways!!
Fuel Filter
I do mine every spring
Brake fluid
Full exchange 3-5 years tops Adsorbs water over time, corrodes the insides of the ABS unit
Coolant
3 yrs 50K no way I would trust the 100 - 150K interval!! Gotta remove the thermostat to get the radiator to drain on the MM. I drain the system. Flush with water till clear. Fill up with 100% coolant. This gets you about 55% coolant the fill procedure for a 4V is legendary

I don't understand what you're asking. You think it should be changed more or less often?

50k-100k intervals depending on how the car is used.

You might have to Napa search it. A former Napa employee told me a customer used to come in asking for muffler bearings all the time and thought it was still funny after asking 5 times in a row. The employee had enough, searched really hard to find muffler bearings and found them for a Ford Tractor. I believe it was from 1948. Called the guy up and said "Your muffler bearings just came in. You can pick them up anytime today."
