Probably a longshot, but figured I'd try.
Anyone have any 31 Spline Axles they never installed?
Or used Ford units?

I'm not sure if this is what you want. 05-08, so I would assume they're 31 spline before calling. Free shipping.

Paul T. Casey baught one here in Alabama just before he went back to Rhode Island. I don't know if it ever got installed. You might try contacting his family. Good luck.

Zack i have two good used 28 spline in my trunk,headed to Looseville,they are yours if you need them,had my 410's put in put new axels in thought mine where bad they where fine.

I have a pair of bad 31 Moser axles I need to send back to them for inspection for warranty. Ill dig them out and see, maybe we can get you a new pair at a discount with these.

Was there a date code or some way to ID these bad axles??

I bought my 31 spline set years ago, and wonder if they are defective...:dunno:

not according to Moser, they wanted me to drive the car down there for them to inspect, i explained that was not only a waste of my time but dangerous at this point. So they want me to ship them. They don't admit to any issues just that they would test the steel to see if it was hardened incorrectly.
