Yes that is correct.
Do you just need one or both? If you need both you can probably find both shipped for $115-120 off ebay. There is one seller a lot of us have bought from, can't remember their name right now.

Yep that's the user. I think I've bought 3 pairs from them and they all came with the H1 bulb/bulb holder.

Same seller but I ordered for a Mercury Monterey which with the same exact fog lamps but cheaper than the one he listed for the Marauder. Keep in mind that was a year ago when I bought them so I don't know if the seller still lists the same way.

If you drive the car a lot it'll be sooner than later that you will need another one so I would buy a pair.

Just buy a pair. The new ones will look so much nicer than the old.
I believe these are also the same.

My fog lamps look brand new, is there a part number that you know of for the bulb holder? I want to change my HIDs for LED maybe but the bulb holder is all hacked up.

That's the issue I had. The holder groove was so bad the bulb literally jumped around inside the bumper.

Check my forum... Marauder Innovations for the HID bulb to use and how to modify it. I have new bulbs and holders for a slight fee. I can also obtain and install HIDs in your foglights for you.

Jim, I see you use H10 bulbs and silicone them to the fog lamp assembly. Do you have any more Marauder-proprietary H1 holders and possibly the wiring harness they plug into for sale? I think the harness is available form fordparts but the bulb holder seems to only come with a new set of fog lamps.

I have the holders. I'll check on the harness / connectors.

I have HIDs in there, I don't see the light as being any useful as it is scattered after removing the diffuser. I see very little difference when driving at night with them on. I also was dumb and bought 8000k and hate the blue now. I would replace with 5000k but the annoying bulb holder mod thing makes me lazy. Was thinking of throwing in some bright LEDs and wiring as DRL down there.
Thanks for the PM Jim.

Yeah 8000k will not get you much light output.
I put 3000k in and you can tell when they are on for sure! It lights up the sides of the roads very good.
I also use H10 bulbs with a modification to the tabs, no silicone. Never had an issue. Can change bulbs whenever required.

Yeah it is horrible for light output. 3000k is probably the best option for true fog lights.
Hmmm is it pretty much knocking a tab off the h10 bulb to fit? That seems easier than the H1 hack job route.

See below or ask Jim about using an H10 bulb. LEDs are a waste in the foglights. I left my diffuser in the last time I changed foglight housings and with 5000k it lights up the sides of the good plenty enough.

3000k-5000k is the only useful K coloring to have.
H10 bulb makes it a breeze, 5-10 mins (if that) to modify the collar to fit. I always use silicone behind it just for that extra level of protection. The ones I have done besides DOOM's car are all daily drivers so it's just to be safe.

Yeah I leave the tabs at 4 and 8 o'clock so to speak. I just like the contrast of the 6000k headlamps to the 3000k fog lights.
I did same retrofit on LJI372's one car, 50w 4300k and I have 50w 6000k. Light output can't even be compared...
That being said my 6000k has plenty of light for me even through a tinted windshield...

Sounds good sir. I am not familiar or have looked up the h10, didn't know if it was a slight variant of the h1 type also requiring extensive hacking. I might keep the HID set down there and just swap bulbs then. Thanks alot.

The reason why they are no good is because you used 8000k. Very little actual light output. I have 6000k fogs & heads. Good light output. I can see the difference when the fogs come on.
