Out put in console

Not sure if any one did this but today I made a nice little feature I thought i would share.. I was getting annoyed with my cell phone cord not beeing long enough from the cigarette lighter output. So I drilled a hole in the lower left side of the of the console about where the carpet material meats the leather stuff. Now the socket in there is used instead and the cord comes out by the seatbelt. A minor mod but the cellphone cord is a lot easier to deal with and cleaner looking to the eye. Just thought I would share.

I have threatened to do something like this myself. I have a plug in hands free device that I keep plugged in to the cigarette lighter on the dash for my phone, but I have thought about some sort of mounting closer to the driver.
