Drivers Door Switch Plate

I need the drivers door window/lock switch plate that the switches mount to. A tab on mine broke and now it doesn't wanna stay put. Anyone coming to Louisville that has one speak up. Thanks.

Lol I have the same problem too every time I shut the door it pops outta place! Used some clear silicone to keep it in place till I can find one myself.

Same problem here with the passenger side plate. Drives me insane looking over and the back end is always popped up so I reach over and slam it down again until it eventually pops up again..:mad2:

I wonder if P71s had matching color switch panels/plates?

You guys are making me really worried about changing my, master control switch. I started to pry it up one day, it came up a lil, and then I stopped, because I was worried about braking the tabs. I really need to grow a pair, and just do it! Any advice?

Pry it from the front. There is a notch to insert prying device.

That's a great write up! I just learned a few more things about these cars. I have a 2004, so taking the rear speakers out is gonna be a lil bit of a chore. Would've been nice if they kept the speaker grilles. Oh well, the stock speakers don't sound that bad. At least I now have a visual on how to do it. The master control switch doesn't look that hard to do. Heck, I was giddy about getting the leather back up, on the passenger side seat. Bothered the crap out of me! Just hanging there. I'll get all the lil things worked out here soon. Baby steps
