The black paint on my Badge. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I've used black touch up paint but the brush work didn't come out that great inside the letters. Anyone have another idea...thin-tip paint marker maybe? Haven't seen anything in the local flaps besides spray or brush applicators.
received these tips in 2012 from DANIEL the man who made them. . .
"Remove all the paint with a paint remover or any solvent, let it dry. Paint the whole front of the emblem. Before it dries use Bounty with acetone or solvent to remove the paint carefully going over the head and the other areas you don't want it. . .another tip , polish and clean it with solvent before paint."
He'll repaint it for a small fee if you don't want to try it.
Sounds a bit scary to do if you've never done it.
I did mine two years ago and it still looks great!
Just take your time. If you mess up just start over.
