I've sent mine all over this great country to help others out and from some quick research these seem to be the same 33 spline ones used for Audi, VW, and BMW and are quite cheap.

Do your own investigative work to confirm, but this is what a quick search yielded. Some websites list Ford, most don't. Sure looks the same.

Anyways, hope this helps.

Good to have in the trunk of your car if your a Trilogy owner, along with a spare alternator, being as how no one stocks one it seems.

Trying getting the pulley itself. Ford no longer makes them and I bought the last two in the country.

Parts are starting to get really hard to come by.

After my alternator debacle in Louisville... I will keep a spare in trunk for the road trips along with the splined tool just in case!!

There are some on eBay.

I don't believe that those are not the ones used to do an Eatin swap.

My Trilogy car had a regular pulley on the alt. Thats why I was confused when Mike called Saturday morning.

Yes, you are correct sir! They are same 33 spline ones used for Audi, VW, and BMW. I could not find one anywhere (for immediate use) until checking with my local (non-chain) FLAPS. They had one & let me use for free.

So my local alternator guy says he has a pulley that we might be able to use, I really would like to get one of the Ford ones in my hand so I can compare them first. Is there anyone out there that will let me borrow their spare pulley so I can compare them? Let me know!

Someone help me out here...my understanding is that the original clutched pulley is removed during the Trilogy conversion and replaced with a normal pulley. I thought the trick tool was only for removal of the clutched pulley. Does the replacement also need the tool to R&R?

No Bob. But if you ever need to swap alternators, the new one comes with the clutched pulley once again. You are correct regarding a regular pulley on Trilogy/eaton cars.

Chris, I know Joe has the part number cause he's smart like that. :) plus it's in the eaton swap thread and IIRC it's very cheap to purchase right at Ford. The 18mm nut (I believe) is actually the harder part to find locally.

Yes the socket is the same for the Audi and the MM. I used the one that I got some years ago for the MM to remove the pulley from my TT. Same socket.
