So i have a dome light issue related to the rear drivers side door. The light wouldnt go out. Took. The door panel off. Unplugged the one wire...still on. Worked the latch. Plugged back in, still on. Unplugged again.... finally went out. Left unplugged and replaced door panel. Driving to work and light comes on for no reason at 80 mph... eventually went off. These things are what kill me about newer cars vs the older cars im used to. How have people resolved similar issues?

Probably need to replace the door switch. P/N: SW3688 or XF1Z10B987AA
The interior, under hood and trunk lights will go out after 20 minutes of inactivity. There is a timer in the system that monitors the lights and turns them off automagically so the battery doesn't drain.
I'd remove the switch clean it and the latch really good, lube the latch.
Good lubes:
CRC Power Lube
Any Lithium Spray Grease
Any Garage Door Spray Grease

Thanks. Sorting out the minor issues 1 by 1.
