My coils came with the springs not installed. Can I push the springs into place or is there something else I should do?

Sorry... just read that your installing in the COPS, just push them in. You should have gotten the "wire" type.

Which ones would you rather have?

Awesome. Thanks for reply. I will have to check those out. Ive heard the name before, but I've always wanted to play it safe with Motorcraft.

The wire looks less prone to wear.

The springs from my original set were so used up that when I removed them they had to be about a foot long. Seems as if they lose tension very fast.

There have been cases where instead of a plug being blown out it's held in place by the cable.
I go 10's on stock everything

The Granatelli connectors are definetly the way to go, the car idles, and runs much smoother.

I'm one of the few that think spring is the way to go. The cable crap, and the second batch "hand picked" by them have both been 100% CRAP.

I don't believe "Granatelli" spring replacers will make any difference in performance, unless the OEM spring connectors are broken.
They are snake oil. Just like 2, 3, and 4, ground spark plugs
However, surely this "TORNADO AIR INTAKE TURBO ECO DUAL DOUBLE FUEL/GAS SAVER FAN TURBINE TURBONATOR" will increase your fuel mileage and horsepower by 10% >>>

I've had them for years with no issues.

Solid connectors are the way to go!!
I had a slight misfire we chased for several moths and the Granatelli connectors fixed it and they are still fine at 253,000 miles!!;)
BTW, I am still using my OEM coils and they are working perfectly too!!

Same here... had them installed for years, no problems at all. Nothing like hearing that nice "click" when you put the coils on.

Have 150k on my connectors, I did have to re-crimp two of them but that was only after yanking them off the coils. Stock coils 214k miles.

+1 for the click.
