steering wheel controls

Hey everyone, im going to be replacing the factory stereo with a double din very soon. I remeber reading on here about an adapter that is needed to be installed with the double din so you can still have the functions of your steering wheel controls. I tried the search function with no success, does anyone know what adapter I will need and the part number?

You need to order based on the maker of the aftermarket headunit.

The one I used with a Pioneer AVIC-X940BT is SWI-RC. Easy to install, works perfectly.
