Disassembling headlight

Is taking apart the headlight to remove guts just as simple as prying the lens cover off to expose the screws? I'm swapping the connector out of mine to put in another one and I don't wanna break anything.

Put in the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes, the sealer will loosen allowing you to pry the halves apart. You will need new sealer to reassemble.

What guts are you trying to remove? There are no screws inside.

Replied... Pull pins from headlight connector to bulb and pull out, simplest way.

Incorrect. There are four screws holding the black bezel inside.

I would bake at 175 or lowest pve. Setting. Bake 7-10 minutes, pry tabs up and start on a top corner. Keep re heating at 3-5 minute intervals. Must remove all rubber butyl and out fresh stuff in for assembly.

I'd do it without pulling apart and drain connector!!
