The new "reimaging" of the classic Appleseed anime is being released in Japan on April 17. There are two excellent trailers that are jaw-dropping, escpecially if you are as big a geek as me.

the first trailer (labled "2") is the most recent, however the better one is just below it (1).

3-d CGI has been used effectively before, but never as good as this.

I ALWAYS SAID THIS WAS COMING....REMEMBER WHEN ED ASNER LEAD A HOLDOUT FOR THE "SCREEN ACTORS GUILD"......WHAT A JERK!!! :baaa:

Awesome. Don't forget about the CG animation flick "Final Fantasy"...that looked simply amazing as well. Of course, this is like comparing a red apple to a granny smith.

That was pretty cool.
I love anime, even though I have been out of the loop for a while.
Have you ever seen "Project A-ko" it is one of my favorites.
