I was looking at the Mustang mag last night and seen SALEEN has a S/C out for the 4.6. I guess it will fit on the MM cause I didnt see the fresh air induction on the passenger side of it. Well just wondering if any of you have it or know others that have it.

My advice is not to use it since it is for a Mustang. Saleen is a great company and if it went together with ease, I would say try it. However, you may run into little problems here and there (or maybe a big problem) since you are trying to fit a Mustang kit on an MM. Front accessory drives may be different as well, computer tuning may be different, etc. All the little problems may end up nickle-and-diming you to an unreasonable cost. If you want a roots type blower, stick with the trilogy kit. It has a proven track record (pun intended) and you know it will bolt right up. There is some uncertainty with the Saleen kit. Just my $0.02.

I'm almost positive that S/C is for SOHC motors only...

I got to drive a supercharged Saleen with a 4.6 in it.

In addition to being well put together and sorted out, it was "pee-your-pants" quick with the Whipple-chager... always thought that would make a great low-end solution for the 32-valve motor.

I've looked and looked though, and can't find any Saleen stuff for our motors, it just fits the garden variety 4.6.

Maybe we should all e-mail Steve Saleen?

I'm pretty happy with our current lineup of S/C's from the fine vendors that support this fine site. One day, I'll get one.. I hope.

One thing I saw recently somewhere was someone said the Cobra lower intake manifold is a perfect fit for the MM... if this is the case, maybe that opens the door to a new arena of power adders..or cheaper alternatives from our current supporters.

Dont get me wrong, Im not trying to tel people that SALEEN is better. I just seen the ad in a magazine the 5.0 mag to be frank with you. Now from the numbers i have seen from the venders we have already who needs SALEEN. I would rather have the Doctors in here do surgery on my future MM.

and thats a big 10-4

Best point so far.

It is most definitely for a SOHC. But, having options is not a bad thing. IMHO, trilogy is the only option for a MM.

Yeah, the Saleen S/Cer that I saw on the net is a twin screw type made by Whipple. Those kind are said to offer the most power, however there are none that I've seen for the Marauder. And yes, some of the accessory drives and brackets on the Cobra are different than they are on the Marauder. The alternator for instance on the Cobra and mustang is mounted low down on the bottom unlike on our cars.
