After arriving at work today, as I was walking across the parking lot. Low and behold what do my wonderous eyes see but another Black Marauder. I work at Nine mile point Nuclear power plant Unit 2, way up here in Oswego, ny.

When my government grant comes in next month I begin working on my latest modification, the fusion powered Marauder!

Bwa-ha-ha-ha (cough, cough)

Call me mad will they? I'll show them mad. When my Marauder finishes the quarter mile in 2.1 seconds they'll be singing a different tune.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha (cough, cough, gotta stay calm, maybe work out a little. The thin air in my mountaintop fortress is starting to get to me)

Question: What does a black Marauder look like red-shifted?

I remember a while back you had wanted to come to a downstate meet, but you wound up getting tons of snow instead. You must be unfrozen by now. Check out the thread in the NorthEast Regional section about the NY/NJ/CT April meet. It's gonna be this Saturday, April 10, at noon at Charlie Brown's in Fishkill. At least it won't be as far for you as Yonkers or Long Island.

Why don't you bring down that subtly glowing Marauder?

I would really like to show up at the meet but regretfully we are in the middle of refueling the pot, and I'm afraid I won't be able to get any time off til at least the middle of april. I'm hopeing to catch a get together soon. But thanks for the invitation.

I know it wasn't me, as my nuclear tipped Marauder is still down here at Brown's Ferry Nuclear Plant. There are two here also, maybe it's a heavy metal nucleonic cloning thing happening at these plants. That would explain why FMC has ended production, in a few years there will be millions out there. :lol:

They aren't much clones as they are mutants. Strange, sad machines. I've read of Marauders with 78 Toyota Corolla engines and tires. One very sad story was about a Marauder that would only go 25 MPH. Very scary!

You definitely have that right!! It is not unusual on a Friday evening commute to average out to 17.33 mph all the way home. The 13 mile trip sometimes takes 45 minutes. In terms of ETs, I am pulling down 51.92 in the 1/4 mile. :bigcry:

This is why the temptation of a clear road is so inviting in this area -- the call to "Let the Big Dog Run" is strong. :banana2:

I could say that after a while that you get used to the traffic around here -- of course, I would be lying through my teeth. :bs:
