Well, Happy Holidays to all--

My Best friend , A local cop droped by And in uniform and just off duty, I said --let's take a drive( had told him I held a test drive when he could drop by)...anyway

We took the Rauder by the interstate and exchanged drivers and all he could say was WOW--This car handles great!..When waiting to get back up to the interstate via an on-ramp under a bridge, a woman in her
BMW or Mercedese(sp) pulled up next to us..looked over and smiled....my co buddy said to me..She wants to take us up the ramp ..I said how do you know that...He said..been driving patrol long enough to know..you watch and see if see if she doesn't want to...I'll ease up the ramp on green and if she gives her hand away--hold on.... Well that is exactely what happened and we were top'in the hill of the on ramp at 90MPH and she gave way dropping back....buddy says..told ya..see.....do enough patrolling ..you get a second sence.....WOW that was so great!!! You guys had to be there to love it .....and to top it off today ..on..Christmas>>>>

My Son-in-law and I ( let him take the MM for 1st time drive) took it to the interstate ( he use to have a Mustang 390 HP) and I couldn't believe it people!!!! We had it up tp 125 once and 120 MPH twice for a few seconds before traffic caused us to slow it down.....a stock MM ....WOW ....How I'm impressed with my baby....

The black dart in the wind was " screamming" today folks... have to admit this is not something I do frequently and we were looking for the
law( except when the law was with me) , and not recommended to everyone--but just to say our cars will do what is needed in an emergency if you have the nerve to hold it down......anyway..just another proud owner...what can I say....and Ohh by the way--nothing others have said about this high speed caused any problems with my MM today....no drops ,,no suprises ,,no disappointments so far..and no mechanical problems..no shifting problems..just the normal expected shifting in the tranny and other stuff you would expect ...

So ..to want more ..you have to do more..don't complain if you haven't and want more..enjoy what is stock if that is what you have so far...we all can dream to the next step..just don't rush it..enjoy the MM

Either way you intended to post this, I enjoyed your recital. I read it as well written and descriptive, from a "seat of your pants" point of view. Your words felt like I was in you car, no sweat from me, drive on!

IMHO...

Hey SergntMac-

Thanks for your "approval" on my story line.....wasn't sure how to post it other that the normal way...have read alot of your comment here as well......gotta love this approach to communicating with others ....it's amazing..when someone else speaks of our MM's that your really trust with knowledge on the subject about what you already know..well..it really makes you feel real good inside..like..Yeah! I did good ! Yeah I did..and it's all mine...when it's different , it's really different....only a test drive truly explains it and brings it all together....when the smile on their face get wider and wider!!! It's a blast to watch a friend drive our beauties--if you can stand the urge not to take the wheel from them--ha-ha- --have to try it once if you haven't already...Happy New Year and look to read more from you in the coming year---

marauderman: Great story! I know the police love this car! Have several friends in the area and have let a few check it out. The first weekend I had mine a local ran against me in his CVPI (backroad,no traffic) he was impressed to hell! Could not belive that something that big could move that fast.

Big dog you hit the nail on the head, "something that big could move that fast" I, like marauderman have been very lucky, I've run 110 plus several times with shake no Vibs no nothin but solid smooth and secure "Haulin Ass"

This plateform screams "American Car"

LM said the decision to buy an MM was more emotional than practical, and I have to agree. I bought one because I wanted one, 'nuff said. With all the tecky stuff we jibber about here, it's nice to see the fun side pop up.

I love it when someone wants to take my MM for a spin, and I love to watch their reactions as they enjoy her.

One thing y'all have to do, is turn her over to a qualified driver and stand on the sidelines, watch her do her stuff. Be a spectator, and get blown away like everyone else does. Next time you put on a little show, you'll appreciate their point of view. You have no idea what your missing.

Can't wait for our local meet Jan 5th, this will be a blast. All us responsible adults, acting like teenagers again..."wanna drag?'

Me buying the MM wasn't exsactly the practical thing to do.I needed a family vehicle because my pickup wasn't cutting it and I knew the moment I got in MM it was the right move.I smiled like a kid in a candy store the whole way home. After taking some relatives around the block they came to GRIPS with marauder being your not so ordinary big car.I'm hoping to enhance the car but am nieve to it so any info on good upgrading will be appreciated.
