Sunshine State Marauders

! Picnic !

 Folks, its here !! The First Sunshine State Marauders picnic is becoming real. This is going to be a family event, so all wives, children, and whomever you choose, are invited. We are going to have this on a weekend ! This should allow for many of our members who either work, or live too far to make the Friday night meet. :alone:
Food will be on hand, as well as non-alcoholic drinks(BYOB). We are going to make this a memorable event for all. Please make plans to come and enjoy this first time event.
All members are welcome, including non "Marauder" owners. Bring your pride and joy, and dont forget to make her shine! :) Pictures will be a must!
Here are the details:

Markham Park
Just off St Rd 84 (I-595), West of I-75
Date: May 16th
SUNDAY
Show time 11:00 AM till ???

The time may change slightly, but the date is set! :banana2:

PLEASE reply here and let us know if you will be able to make this meet. Also, fill in the poll section, with yourself + how many more along with you, so that we have enough for everyone! :) Further details to come, along with directions for our "out of town'ers".

Looking forward to having this meet! Waiting to hear from you....

Sounds like a good time. The park is easily accessible to those coming from the west coast, right off I-75 as soon as the alley is crossed, and next to the Sawgrass Expressway and I-595. This will be my first meet. Thanks for having it on a Sunday.

Firedab let us know when you can how you wish to handle the Picnic, If you plan too pick up the stuff and we give you the money, or if you wish we can bring our own stuff, or everyone must bring a Item for the group. I'm sure what ever you wish their won't be a problem.

Here were my thoughts. Depending on the responce from here, I was either going to get a catering service, or I was going to go to Costco and get some supplies. Money, I was going to ask for donations at the Picnic.

Count on two more being there. Been looking for Marauders on the highway every day. I'm juiced on the car and want to meet and talk to other owners and see what makes their Marauders so special.

if it was in Tampa, i would go. But driving my 1972 volkswagen beetle all the way down to miami would suck ass. The Picnic is not in Miami, it's in Weston Just as you come out of the EverGlade's. It would be 45 minute's closer, but still a 4 hour drive for you. The picnic is still on for the 16 th. of May at Markham Park Starting at 11 am , so if you change your mind for some reason your more than welcome too come.

Well I took a ride to Markham Park to see the park and the area we will meet at. Looks good. I noticed a Volley Ball net, so if anybody has one please bring it. Also plenty of room for frizbee's too. Their is a area with swing's, a small play ground, great for the kid's. I don't remember anybody saying they are bringing a radio,so I have a nice size one that play's Cassette's and C.D.'s,so if you have some music you like to hear bring it.
