I don't want to discuss this because I hated thinking about it, making it and everything about it.
You can do it to with your egr tube, a flaring tool and brass fittings.
F*** that

Here are the fittings you will need. 2 of each. You will have to knock the od of the egr tube down slightly to get a proper fit

before or after the blower to lower intake - when was the EGR itself installed? any hitting on the wiper motor area? any rotation required?

I'm going to build this. What do you mean by "knocking the od of the egr tube down slightly"?

If the Starting od is 2, then the final od must be less then 2.

The brass fittings wont slide over until you sand or grind the tube down.

*FYI*
If your egr tube comes off without a hitch, you wont need the flaring tool.
Since I had to cut this one off, I had to use a section of tube out of the middle, and needed to re-flare it.

Gotcha.

The fitting came off the EGR easy peasy. The other end has not been on my headers long so that will be easy too.

Update: Getting the fitting off my header was a pain in the rump.

So the spot where you ground down the metal tube you used a compression fiting?

I need a new heat sock. Mine is all unraveled. Hoping I can save it. I suppose you can get them at Jegs or somewhere like that?

No. That's their bling section... I'm referring to their isle of nothing but old school Chevy 350 chrome crap, ricer/lawn mower air filters, and jacks I would never trust. :)

See if you can get the heat "socks" for spark plug wires.

I'll proably have to do this in the near future, as soon as I see how my first inspection goes...

Will an 18" long piece of gas line work or will it be too short?

Do it exactly per Zack's instructions.

I love this mod. It works great. Made a PITA a piece of cake.
