There will always be little things, some you can put out of your mind and others will drive you mad. We have a mobile alloy wheel repair joint that stops by our dealership a couple times a week, damage like that would require stripping clear, polishing, and reclearing the wheel. Some deeper gouges they can even polish out. Price from our guys is about $100 per wheel for slight cosmetic damage. The previous owner of my car curb rashed two wheels and "forgot" to tell me about it until I drove 6 hours to buy the car. My price on the two badly rashed wheels is $250 each, but they will have to add material with a TIG.

that price beats trying to find newer wheels. at least now that i know it can be repaired i can start looking for a place to do it

I would get the rust/paint fixed first though. IMHO

The good news is, though noticeable to you, most people won't notice those imperfections on initial look and are wow'd by the car regardless.

+1 I can find flaws on my 49k mile Marauder which was always garaged; no one notices the couple small things on my car that otherwise drive me nuts. Aside from cold mornings and late nights when my passenger headlight fogs up bad...everyone points that out:bigcry:

you get used to it, I cant tell you how bad I felt after a complete restoration was done on one of my 442s and I saw all the little things messed up - after a bit of driving you remember its the driving that's the fun part, don't sweat the small stuff

Remember that you bought a 10 year old car. Even in "showroom" condition there are bound to be flaws. Don't let it get you down it's still a marauder:up:

My wife curb rashed 3 out of 4 aluminum wheels on her 7000 mile, 8 month old 2013 Accord V6 already. And doesn't care. Whatcha gonna do?

lol I'm pretty new here myself and if I've learned one thing so far, it's that THIS is the type of encouragement you will receive on a regular basis. Good ol fashioned real talk
It's true though, man. I notice so many little things all over the place because I'm a perfectionist. But hey, I cleaned my newly acquired Marauder a couple days back, posted a few pics on the web for others to see and comment on and you would've thought I just got a brand new car straight off the assembly line. You will ALWAYS notice more than the other guy.
Mine's a daily driver and she'll endure some more hardship before it's all over with. And yeah, my perfectionist side will freak out a few more times over those things and I'll try to find a way to fix them. But she's MINE and I get to drive her...and that's what matters most in the end. :twocents:

I'm sure we could all post up twice as many pics like that from our cars, but we still love the thing. When I first got my car I was convinced it sat lopsided when viewed from the back until I realized my driveway was slanted a bit...LOL

I know what you mean,!!, mine has a little curb rash and her bumpers are sagging, and she has four toes on one foot. I've parked her and don't let her mow the grass any more !! Beer !

What's the worst is when you damage something on your car
..yourself. I was detailing the inside of the drivers door when my butt slid off the seat and my belt caught on the plate cover of the power lumbar switch and pulled it out. Whenever I get out I have to tap the plate back in. I think I have to take the seat apart to fix it too . I try to be really careful now when I'm working on it. .

+1 with what everyone said! You just have to address the issue that drives you the craziest first and work it from there. However, sometimes, though, a parts buying opportunity will pop up and screw your plans up a bit. Ask me how I know! But that's part of the fun! :)
BTW, one of my front bumper corners does the same thing. I am getting ready to attempt to address that situation shortly. Also, one of my wheels has some rash too. But, get out the buffer and polish those babies up and most will never tell 'cause they will be shining so much! ;)

Looking at the front bumper picture, it looks like the rear fender lip under the bumper edge is bent a little. The spot where the push pin goes in looks folded in toward the front of the car. If the lower fender curve is bent (the lower front edge of the fender under the cover is bent upwards toward the hood. That needs to be strightened out. You might be able to reach in and pull it back down.
The bumper corner is held in with a small metal "L" shaped bracket that attaches behind the side marker light. Remove the side marker and you will see it. Take the screw out and rebend the bracket to form the bumper corner back in. When you attach the bracket it may hold the bumper corner back in correctly.
It looks like something pushed up on the underside of the lower edge of the front bumper behind the bumper cover.
It would drive me nuts too as well.
